I have a job for 4 more months. My position is being discontinued in June. Considering I’m hoping to get married in July, this is causing no end of complications. The position I interviewed today is a teaching position that will start in the fall school year. It pays about 20% more than what I make now and is in a private, Christian school rather than a public school. This means a bit less stressful teaching environment. Thing is, this is the last of the job options I really know of. So I’m really hoping this one comes through.
I do feel like it went well. I know I am personally perfect for the position and environment at the school. We have nearly identical educational philosophies and goals. However I felt that way about the last two positions I interviewed for, so we’ll see.
The nice thing is, my best friend has been a teacher at this school for 4 years and he’s really going to bat for me, so I’m hoping that helps. He said I’m on the short list of candidates.
Too much coffee this morning. Bro is visiting. Had a blast yesterday at h range and yes I kicked but….got a good constant groupings and all in the black. The MP 4 is a fun carbon o fire.
I’m a bit confused, I don’t claim to be an expert on military grade firearms, I’m more into deer hunting myself (which I suppose you could do with military grade firearms). You’re calling it an MP 4, but the firearm in the picture looks like an M4. I know that in the case of H&K the MP5 was actually the German military’s designation for the weapon, so is MP4 a designation for a specific type of M4?

And as the second article noted, the Court’s expediting of the case is odd if it wanted to drag its feet. In any case, whatever is decided in June effectively decides the case. If they decide to treat it as a tax, they ceded argument to the administration and the final ruling becomes a formality. However, we just don’t know what the court is thinking right now.
That is interesting they have a new article about it (due to his recent grammy performance); I think that has been public information for a year or two.

Had to take my cat Sammie to the doc today.He had some sort of urinery blockage,hence all the yowling the little pisser has been doing the past couple of days.
It isn’t so much the food that he eats. It’s that he’s not drinking enough water. He drinks enough liquids, just not enough water, if you know what I mean (wink-wink, nudge-nudge)
My mom’s cat had a similar problem last year. She had been feeding it kibble and not keeping up with changing the water. I switched the diet to wet food (which is what you should do with a cat in any case) and made sure fresh water was available, and the problem went away within a week.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all to find out there are some flaws in certain theories even E=mc2. It wouldn’t be the first time generally held theories have been blown out of the water by new scientific discoveries.
I remember that event. When it was first published, they cautioned against too much excitement until it could be duplicated. Looks as if they were correct in their caution.
Gas has jumped $.50/gallon the past few days in my little corner of the world. To offset the increase, Dems want the prez to open the Strategic Petroleum Reserve spigot. Thanks, Dems! That’ll knock off two or three cents a gallon! I guess we’ll be able to pay our utility bills, after all!
The Dems are just trying to buy votes again. They won’t do the right thing and open Gulf drilling, or North Slope, or the Keystone Pipeline so they use a bandaid with no stickem! They’re scared half to death that with the current rise in oil prices nobody will vote for them. They’re right!
