If you want to see the ultimate in smug leftist elitism, check out Roger Ebert’s blog, where he scolds Americans who don’t travel to foreign countries often (http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/03/a_slow_boat_to_anywhere.html). It’s simply amazing to read, a rich man chiding his fellow citizens for not spending more money on travel, during a recession.
And oh yeah, he still hasn’t bothered to write any kind of obituary or tribute to Ron Silver yet. You stay classy, Roger.
Personally David, I don’t worry too much about the “too much information” or “too much communication” factors referenced in the article you linked. Yeah, Big Brother can find me with my cell phone, but I suspect that he could find me without it. Whistling in the wind? Maybe, but I think there is SO much info and intel out there now, why would anybody bother with lil’ ole me? Likewise, believing that man is basically good (and women are basically hot, but I digress) that more communication will lead to a better world, especially in the impoverished and totalitarian-ruled nations.
I’ve traveled out of the country extensively, and have had extended stays in foreign countries all for FREE.
What I took away from those trips was an appreciation of what we have here in the USA. If you only stay at five star hotels in Canes that really doesn’t count in my opinion.
The best thing about playing poker with dogs is always sing “bitches” after ever play or calling the opponents “sons of bitches” with no repercussions because it would be literally true.

Skype Hits the iPhone – Values are at War. It’s a short article. What does everyone think?
“Church online”? Well, certainly puts Jesus’, “Wherever two or more of you meet in my name…” definition of “church” to the test.
Very good David. I just did my latest at Modcon. Is not as good as the first but I guess its OK…

It’s not my article, but thank you
I was just asking everyone’s opinion on the topic.
I totally forgot you’d joined the ModCon family, Steph — welcome to the controlled insanity!

Words echoed by the mighty Johnny Cash after being stationed overseas. You’re in great company there, Outlaw!

I wonder if they will be called Obama Motors?
I wonder if Obama can drive a car without an enormous HUD?
Good question. But I think there is no Hud caps.
