November 11 used to be Armistice Day as it was signed on the 11 PAM on the 11th day of the 11th month ending World War 1. Frank Buckles, America’s last surviving WW1 vet passed away in 2011. Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving. Hopefully we’ll be able to earn back the freedoms you fought for.

When K-State has 80% of their 5 undefeated/untied seasons unrewarded with even a share of a national championship, you’ll have my sympathies.

Pet hair, dust, ashes from smoking can migrate into your computer and clog the open holes. Use the hose attachment of your vacuum to remove pet hair and dust from the back of your computer. Clean the monitor case with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Be sure to also dust the power cords, floor and area around the computer, printer and fax machine too.
Before I DX’d my old computer earlier in the year. I took apart and cleaned the keyboard of my 5 year old computer…quite disgusting the things that had made their way inside that thing. It was amazing how much was in there actually.

I really have to clean mine ‘cuz the “d” keeps gettin’ stuck.
One has to be careful about these things. I had a friend whose wife left him ‘cuz the “e” stuck on his keyboard, so when he went away on business, he sent her this email:

The final Allied push towards the German border began on October 17, 1918. As the British, French and American armies advanced, the alliance between the Central Powers began to collapse. Turkey signed an armistice at the end of October, Austria-Hungary followed on November 3.
Germany began to crumble from within. Faced with the prospect of returning to sea, the sailors of the High Seas Fleet stationed at Kiel mutinied on October 29. Within a few days, the entire city was in their control and the revolution spread throughout the country. On November 9 the Kaiser abdicated; slipping across the border into the Netherlands and exile. A German Republic was declared and peace feelers extended to the Allies. At 5 AM on the morning of November 11 an armistice was signed in a railroad car parked in a French forest near the front lines.
The terms of the agreement called for the cessation of fighting along the entire Western Front to begin at precisely 11 AM that morning. After over four years of bloody conflict, the Great War was at an end.
