This has been on my list for a while as I’ve only seen it once long ago. This one put the noir in film noir and Tierney has “issues” with the wimmins. Also on TCM tomorrow are prior CPODs Little Women (6:00 AM), The Maltese Falcon (8:00 PM), The Big Sleep (10:00 PM), In Cold Blood (2:00 AM) and Kiss Me Deadly (4:30 AM).
Claire Trevor is so good in this, and Tierney just =noir. One of the most terrifying movie thugs ever, perfected the scowl. he was great in Dillinger too.
