If You Could Only Cook (1935)
An unhappy executive gets a job as a butler on a lark, only to fall for the family cook.
Dir: William A. Seiter. Cast: Herbert Marshall, Jean Arthur, Leo Carillo, Lionel Stander. TV-G. 12:00 PM EST. TCM.
I think this is the only major Jean Arthur film I haven’t seen. I’ll fix that tomorrow since I loves me some Jean Arthur. She made a pretty big splash as one of the queens of screwball/romantic comedy with such relatively few films and a very early retirement. Also on TCM tomorrow are prior CPODs The Sting (10:00 PM) and Night and the City (4:00 AM).

Keeping with the cooking, food, splashing theme from yesterday, I see. I like it.
