Newly elected Egyptian President and Muslim Brotherhood stooge Mohammed Morsi finds himself in a bit of a pickle:
Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi left the presidential palace in Cairo on Tuesday, two sources reported, after protesters angered by his decree last month to extend his powers clashed with police outside.
“The president left the palace,” a presidential source, who declined to be named, told Reuters. A security source at the presidency also said the president had left the building.
Some protesters broke through lines of police who were protecting the palace and demonstrated at the palace walls.
Morsi recently claimed dictatorial powers for himself recently of course — good on Egyptians for not putting up with that crap. All of this gives rise to the best sign EVAH. Until another great sign pops up of course… from Twitchy:
Thank God Obama is here to support freedom and democracy — or the the Muslim Brotherhood. I can’t wait to see what concoction he has in store for Syria.

I don’t know, man. The President really convinced me with his demanding tone towards Syria in the speech I heard this morning. Fortunately, we all have access to the speeches of President Reagan re. Libya to remind us how an actual authoritative President sound. Even better for those of us alive at the time, we saw action, not words.
I think we all know what the problem is here: Obama hasn’t apologized hard enough.

That sign that protester is holding should be turned into a billboard and posted across the street from the White House for the next 4 years, with an electronic ticker counting off the dead..
Nice idea, Daniel. And I do love that sign. I spent some time in Cairo in the early 90s and thought it one of the most fascinating places on the planet. I’m glad to hear Egyptians are giving pushback to this tin god.
