I did! And I am sorry to say that I never saw the series & it’s as for now, unavailable for viewing. I googled Master Way and read of his “maturity” changing his angelic voice. So it goes, eh? I put a CD or several in my Amazonia cart, however, but must wait till after Christmas to purchase. Mr. Moderator told me to “slow down,” dontcha know.
Luke Russert has already tweeted about how the “loss” of Tim Scott in the House means Repubs don’t have any Af-Am reps there.
Re: the Ace headline is something to the effect of: Racist Southern Gov Kicks Af-Am Rep Out of House.
Boy, Russert sure didn’t inherit his dad’s…ANYthing.
Appaling how much misinformation is spewed out by the MSN.Why don’t we ban cars because some people choose to drive intoxicated and kill people thereby? One of my favorite lines is “Guns are made for only one reason-to kill people!”.Uh,no.Police use guns to deter bad people from committing crimes, almost always without a shot being fired.Same goes for private gun owners, many of whom just like the sport of target shooting, and who would truly hate to be put in the position of firing at another person.Killing for them would be the last extremity,a back against the wall thing,an either me or you situation.
Things I never thought I’d be crossing off a list of “Things I Never Thought I’d Have to See”: Danny DeVito running bare-ass across a TV screen. Sincere thanks on the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Matt Helm! Recommended Christmas episode down, and just wrapped Season 1 this morning.
The “panties-in-a-bunch” crowd are ranting that law enforcement should have done something about the Newtown murderer, that somehow the police just sat around dipping donuts in coffee until after the murders. Predictable, ignorant response from those who don’t understand the awesome but limited power given to police by the peepul via the codified laws and ordinances under which police operate.
Change the laws and the police will change their behavior. In the meantime, all the “officer, do something!” loons should STFU. Blame the devil, blame the gun, blame the mental patient, blame the video, blame the father, but don’t blame the police for this one.
NYT compares Prez’z speech at the memorial to the Gettysburg Address.
I can’t even comment.
I came thisclose to respect after Friday’s speech.
Then I saw the POTUS podium at the memorial service. REALLY??? Is there nothing this man won’t shove his importance into? (Unless there’s a law stating that an official podium must accompany any speech the Prez gives.)
I have finally wandered back unto the reservation. Anyone miss me?
I was crazed ballet mom for 7 straight days, but life should me slightly more normal (as normal as mid-December gets anyway).
Anything important happen while I was gone?
Yes…you were gone! Other than that, it was quite peaceful in these parts, except for a bit of shouting and carrying on and the like!
I was going to drop in and see you and Texacalirose after I dropped Mrs.-fritz- in Irvine, but then I’d have felt obligated to also stop and see Floyd and Eric as well, and time did not permit a round trip of that magnitude! Besides that, both of them told me to stay away from their chimneys, so…here we are!
I missed you. It gets a little testosteroney around here sometimes; we wimmens need to keep it balanced … you know, more of us than them. Balanced. That’s what I said. *o^
On the face of it, maybe the cop’s a pr!ck. But I wasn’t there; maybe it was a hazardous distraction. Or maybe the Wichita lineman was searchin’ for another overload … too many lights, ya know.
Gerard Depardieu goes Galt, French-style, and good on him for it. Check out this little beauty of a quote: “I am leaving because you believe that success, creation, talent, anything different must be sanctioned.” The socialists knew this would happen if they pushed their sky-high tax rates, and they went ahead and did it anyway. You reap what you sow, a-holes.
Here!
Present!
My favorite John Prine song. He’s got that “woe is me woman thang” down like Shakespeare.
Bonnie Raitt duo, too.
And woe is me.
There is no woe to being a woman. You all have the right of refusal, and exercise it profusely and at will!
Whoa!!
Exactly!
Oh. This thing told me I was posting too quickly, that I should slow down. Another boss. Just what I need. Sheesh.
“duet”
So now we have empirical data that you’re a fast woman!
I freaking love science!
Well, my ole house shoulda burnt down a long time ago …
Huh?
She must be referring to static electricity built up from rushing around alot!?
Oh, yeah – she can build up quite the charge, what with her flannel nighties sliding in and out of…um…
Is it warm in here?
Y’all didn’t listen to that song, did ya? If you hadda, youdda know’d whut Ise talkin’ ’bout. Tsk. Tsk.
TCR, did you see my comment on Sunday Gospel? Listen, is there possibly any sound more beautiful (outside of heaven) than this child’s voice?
I did! And I am sorry to say that I never saw the series & it’s as for now, unavailable for viewing. I googled Master Way and read of his “maturity” changing his angelic voice. So it goes, eh? That Sunday Gospel post was unearthly. Truly.
Governor Haley hits it outta the park. Tim Scott to replace DeMint!!! (Trey Gowdy would have been stellar, too). Yay.

Mark Sanford was an idiot.

About half of the Memphis PD(it seems) is deployed in the public schools to keep the students, and their crazy parents, from massacreing one another.
Thank you. And “mainstreaming” in the classroom is another failed Democrat “feels good” policy. Sequester. Sequester now.
Damn great story. These are the guys at Penn State who stood the ground, the ones who didn’t bail to California, and who went 8-4.

Four score and seven is the I.Q. of that writer.
Still trying to enshrine his place in history, I see.
He’s on the whole next to Carter in the Presidential Shitter
I’ll go one better than that…he is the (w)hole upon which Carter sitteth!
Comparing a speech by Obama to the Gettysburg Address?
Wow, they must be pissed to rate him so low!

Nah, I’m used to wimmin walking out on me during the Holiday season by now.
I think the biggest news is that Rush was elected to the RRHoF.

EEEK!
She’s back!
Don’t listen to the “ballet mom” BS…I noticed Timothy Olyphant dropped off the map around the same time she did.
Yes…and Julio the pool boy has been so disgruntled that he’s been ignoring his “pool” duties!

I spent a week in Wichita one night…It needs something!
On the face of it, maybe the cop’s a pr!ck. But I wasn’t there; maybe it was a hazardous distraction. Or maybe the Wichita lineman was searchin’ for another overload … too many lights, ya know.
For whatever it’s worth, it is against the law to do that in Wichita, so the officer was just doing his job.
