My head almost exploded last night when Gov. Bill Richardson told Hannity that the reason their was no budget agreement was because of the … wait for it … are you sitting down? …
… the Tea Party Republicans in the House.
I just got another pay cut via the expiration of the SS tax cut. It’s really wonderful. Life is grand. Happy new year.
Yes…Happy New Year! I’m getting ready to file suit against the US Senate and Harry Reid as head conspirator in the matter of their stonewalling any attempt at a budget and tax settlement. They are grieveously leading our country down a path of fiscal destruction and need to be called to account!
Sounds good…now if only there were a way I could do that!
Wow! I didn’t make the connection! Thanks for pointing it out. Now I can be offended on behalf of our own Lars, too. This has become a hostile blog place! Is there a lawyer in the house????
Floyd often talks about the proliferation of criminal laws.I doubt the average person would think that weasel Gregory acutally violated a law…but he did!Crazy.
Ignorance is bliss…till you get put in the slammer for it! It’s like I used to tell young(and old) pukes at the hotel when they got caught with marijuana, et al, “Sorry…t’ain’t legal in Nevada, no matter what you’ve heard, and ignorance of the law is no excuse!” “Click!” (That was the sound of the cuffs).
If the government would “really” enforce the so-called guns laws that are on the books, we’d have a lot less trouble. And they need to start with the BATFE and the Justice Depts., and that smug a$$hole pictured to the right on this page, that is in an ad for voting to repeal Obamacare!
The thing is they weren’t ignorant of the law they called the DC cops prior to doing it to ask if it was OK. The cops said no and they did it anyway. THROW. HIS. ASS. IN. JAIL.
More gun laws for ‘em! The b!tch who bought the guns for the NY ex-convict slime who ambushed and murdered the firefighters just got arrested. So, the nice law that kept him from purchasing was circumvented. Is anyone going to speak to the fact that he hammered his 80 year old grandmother to death and then got the charges dropped to manslaughter, let me repeat that: manslaughter, was convicted and served only 17 years. Anyone? Ma Feinstein? Who’s-Your-Daddy Bloomberg?
Congress just extended all the Bush-era surveillance authority for another five years. And the Left, who screamed that we were a police state under Bush, now sticks their fingers in their ears and yells, “lalalalalala!”
JimmyC, at the risk of sounding like Who’s-Your-Momma Feinstein, this: When the-right-wing-nazi-bush did it, it was trampling civil rights; when the-holy-progressive-savior-obama’s-senate goes for it, it’s for our own good. We need to know who is a threat. Because guns. Not regular guns. Assault guns.
So I took my car in to get the brakes done today, and ended up spending 6 1/2 hours and $750. After the $500 to fix my fence that was damaged in a storm a few weeks back, and only 2 billable days this week, I have to say that I’m prepared for the what the looming fiscal cliff will do to me in the coming New Year. :-/
Smartest thing I ever did (one of the few actually) was to get an extended maintenance package when I bought my vehicle back in ’09…paid for itself over time, it has.
It was at Just Brakes. The car is a ’98 Camry with 176K on it that I bought used back in ’08 at 100K to replace the car that was totaled during the ‘Holiday from Hell.’ The LF rotor, caliper and piston, and the RF lower control arm all had to be replaced. And of course, now I need to get an alignment (the shop I went to couldn’t do it.) At the time, I couldn’t afford to get any after-market extended warranty or maintenance package. And since I’m still dealing with the fallout of the near-bankruptcy caused by the divorce and 2+ of funemployment, getting a new car loan is problematic.
hmmmmmmm…this need to go on Wanks’ Weekend 5 thread, too.

On a happy note…here’s yur stinking coffee!
My apologies to Lars for the horrid insensitivity on the part of Floyd for posting that Nors-ist cartoon!

Actually, yes, but he’s also the perp!
I’m pretty sure the guys with horns in the Wizard of Id cartoons are Hunts. I know for sure Vikings never looked like that.
And by “Hunts” I mean “Huns.”
If they were short Huns, then they were runts!
Aigs!

Not much of an egg person, but I do love a good ham omelet once in awhile.
I luv aigs and you’re one of my favorite hams.
Why thanks be to ya, Texacaliruse! DYSWIDT?
Yes, I did SWYDT. I passed the testes this time.
The eggs pass on the testes, too.
Huevos? With or without rancheros?
Ehhgs are my staple. I buy them by the dozens at the farmer’s market, pastured and double yolked. Thanks for the Bubba Gump-esque link. Cluck. Bowk.

OK, so now the picture is on the left side of the page!

Sauce for the goose.
Big “Oops!” then.

Don’t talk facts to those people. They are as irrational as the guy who did the shooting.
Their main weapon of destruction is their mouths. And they make profuse of them!

This fellow died on Wednesday – he (not George Lucas) was responsible for a lot of my early interest in science fiction: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/28/arts/television/gerry-anderson-animator-of-puppetry-dies-at-83.html?_r=0
The Thunderbirds!!! And we

Isn’t the motto of the BSA, “Be prepared”?
the new 2013 slogan adds the phrase… “to be screwed…”
And then some!
Goozer was that at the dealer or another place?
