Greetings, you two…and everyone else living in the Grand Duchy of Threedonia! You serfs need to get off your dead “A”s and get to work! But first…to the coffee!

Oh, goody! California is stepping right in line with the other crazies for gun “control.” Ya know, when I was trained to stay safe on the street during the course of my po po shift, somebody told me to always assume the other guy has a gun. So, I did. And I do. What’s the big deal in that? I am a member of the “law enforcement officer who wants everyone (except the felon dirtbags and nutjobs) to be armed.” I would feel safer. And once again, leave it to Texas to save our bacon.
I like to go out to Stateline(Primm), NV with my Beretta that has a 13 shot magazine, and straddle the state line. In NV, I can open carry, and the magazine size means nada. In CA, I’m a felon the second I put part of myself over the line with it! Over the line…perp. Not over the line…law abiding citizen! What to do? A criminal one second, a good citizen the next!!!

Nope…I checked. Since the gun isn’t registered to a CA citizen, and the clip is over 10 rounds, plus not permitted to be carried loaded in a car…it be’s agin the law there. If I got stopped and the gun was dismantled in the trunk, it’s illegal for me to have it there. This info from a NV police certified firearms instructor.
I don’t really do the stateline dance, but it was a fer instance type thing!
I didn’t say it wasn’t agin the law in California. The >10 round capacity magazine and concealment are ‘wobblers’ in California and have nothing to do with State registration; you would be considered an “importer.”

JC, I wish I could laugh along a bit more, but I just don’t understand Twitter, all the #’s, RT’s, and @’s. I can’t follow the conversation beyond the plain old-fashioned English. I’m going to buy a book or find someone to meow me.
You get used to it after a while. The trick is to ignore all the code and just focus on the text- that way you can follow the conversation pretty easily.

Something tells me that that kind of story would have everyone – on the Left and the Right – appropriately screaming in outrage.
Someone phoned in a bomb threat to a local school, it had to be evacuated…..
There are too many phones! We need sensible phone control! Background checks, waiting periods, why do you need a smart phone? The founders could not have forseen this, we need to evolve away from that archaic 1st Amendment. That phone has an extended life battery, 15 minutes before a re-charge should be enough, anything more is an asault phone. I don’t care if people use phones everyday to save life, if it can be used by the mentally ill for bad, then we don’t need them. President Obama should have Joe Biden look at this next.
And before some troll points out “that guns are only designed to kill”, may I point out they can be perverted to deter others. So there are in fact other uses. “So, cellphones can’t kill, like guns can”, says the troll. How do they set off those IED’s anyway? Yes, that’s right terrorists use two cell phones to set off bombs. We need to stop this madness!
