  It bears repeating that the police should NOT be the only ones armed in a free society that wants to stay free. Those who think we are safer if only the military and the police are armed are paving the road to subjugation.

    It may not be that, “only the military and the police are armed”. Homeland Security has ordered 7000 “assault weapons”. Well, lets hope “the system works”.

    The funny thing is that back in the Seventies, when concealed-carry was still not a major taboo in New York City, Burroughs used to go around with a derringer and a sword cane.
