I don’t think it’s a state secret I’m in Kuwait at the moment. Speaking of Geraldo, his microphone was shoved down the pants of about 20 crew-chiefs when nobody was looking when he intruded on our unit’s space back in ’04. Think of that mental picture the next time you see that mic on his lips.
Outlaw, back in the dark ages in the Air Force, I was in charge of maintenance on a bunch of old T33 trainers. They had a device in the cockpit called a “relief tube”, for going #1 while in flight. The device looked strangely similar to the pneumatic communications tubes that used to be on older Navy vessels. One day while I was sending off a “new” 2nd Lt. on pilot traing, he put the tube to his lips, not knowing what it was used for, and jokingly hollered into it, “Pilot to co-pilot, pilot to co-pilot.” needless to say, this tore up the training pilot in the back seat, and everybody on the flightline. This incident was a rip around the squadron for months.
How about a list of the Top 5 or 10 books Hollywood should adapt into a film.
-TRANSFER OF POWER (Flynn, Vince)
-THE TERMINAL MAN (Crichton, Michael)
-STATE OF FEAR (Crichton, Michael)
-THE REAGAN DIARIES (Reagan, Ronald)
-FOUNDATION (Asimov, Isaac)
Protect and Defend is on IMDB as being slated to start filming…somtime…
Vince has seen a script. I have heard they wanted to do Consent to Kill (Which has the coolest and poetic way of killing a terrorist bastard EVA!) but like I said IMDB is listing Protect and Defend….so……
Just wondering what the USDA recommended daily allowance for sand is…whatever it might be I’m pretty sure I’m exceeding it.
Sandstorms suck and don’t look anything like they do in “Lawrence of Arabia”.
Outlaw!
Settling in alright? I hope you’ll start posting again soon. I’m getting too old to carry Floyd for very long.
Outlaw!! The boys and I have been praying. Glad to see you, very glad.
Hang in there Outlaw. We’re praying for you too. I understand the sandstorm scene, living in the Mojave Desert. Not that much fun.
Ah! Now, this picture is more like it. Threedonia is starting to feel like home, now.
And look at the dogs in the foreground—they’re cheating! Ha! That’s priceless.
To funny guys. Outlaw I hope your doing OK there in the worlds largest cat box…urg! Hugs dude!
Anyway we are off to take Dad in Law to see Fantasy of Flight. Should be interesting. Will be around later.
Hugs
Threedonia is jumping this morning! Six new posts, and it’s not even noon.
That’ll be nice for the folks when they wake up.
Where do you FIND this stuff?!
Floyd has a way with dogs!
See, dogs do love something. This painting proves Floyd wrong.
I would never post something proving myself wrong.
“Sandstorms suck and don’t look anything like they do in “Lawrence of Arabia”.”
You just gave your position away, Geraldo!

Ender’s Game – Orson Scott Card
And when they film that, I’ll give them another one.
Good idea.
Kit, Hollywood already did The Terminal Man back in the ’70s, and it didn’t turn out very well: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072267/
I doubt a remake would be much better.
Floyd, I asked my dog what he thought about your opinion on the dog love issue and he said, “GFY, are we going to play cards or not?”
Kit, I second State of Fear, but we’ll see that one when pigs fly (and my ex-girlfriend getting on a plane doesn’t count).
Outlaw my GOD that is so funny. And so gross…lol….
