Leif Erickson was Big John Cannon. Both names scream “MAN!!!” I always thought The High Chaparral was an underrated TV show. I’m actually not kidding about that. Watched it all the time in reruns. It always seemed a darker version ofBonanza or Big Valley. 1970s TV rawked.

What day is the equivalent of Leif Garrett day?
February 29.
Jonas Brothers or Zac Efron?
Sorry, I was busy hitting “record” and thought Tony meant equivalent to Leif Garrett today. I now also take back my initial answer and say, “Nobody, at least nobody willing to be the king of the parted down the middle and feathered hairdo look.”
At the risk of having to forfeit my 3donia membership, that was actually from Spongebob. But I like your association better. Ummmmm and why no Texas on this one?
The High Chaparral was set in Arizona. Duh!
I put you in the Tag — that’s the same as Texas — (easy Zoon — platonic all the way)
Aren’t New Mexico and Arizona just the far western counties of West Texas?
Well, most of yall are just about the size of our (smaller)counties
On behalf of the great state of Connecticut, I declare war on Loving County.
And no fair helping them.
I can’t believe you Texans let that slide.
Now the world will see that Connecticut is the strong horse in this struggle, and will support us out of fear.
I’m assuming that Perez Hilton is celebrating the day knowing that he’s just a “man’s man!”
Are these on DVD (as if I won’t google it right after I finish posting this and wait for an answer)? This is one series I’ve heard of but never seen in syndication, and there were lots of western series in syndication when I was a kid.
“What day is the equivalent of Leif Garrett day?”
That day in the 70s when you spent your allowance on Wacky Packs and an issue of Tiger Beat.
I remember that day well. Tiger Beat had ‘James At 15′ on the cover and I traded my brother a ‘Raggedy Ant’ card for his ‘Playskull’ card.
I would probably trade my “Moron Salt” for “Raggedy Ant” and would’ve bought the Adam Rich cover of Tiger Beat.
Here’s your Raggedy Ant.
