Some links:
- President Obama is getting hammered in a Fox News poll for his handling of the Iran crisis. Sixty-percent say he isn’t being tough enough on the regime or on North Korea.
- He also got booed shopping his health care plan today. Apparently doctors hate having their livelihood threatened.
- Are we dead? Not yet. Drudge links to this Gallup poll, stating conservatives are the largest ideological group in the United States. Listening to Kathleen Parker and Little Green Footballs, you would think there are five conservatives left in the whole country.
- Iranian student: “Do the Americans know what is happening here?“
- Despite the AP and press reports of how the Palin kerfuffle was helping Letterman, he issued another apology: “I had, honestly, no idea that the 14-year-old girl, I had no idea that anybody was at the ball game except the governor, and I was told at the time she was there with Rudy Giuliani. It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault. … So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke.” Seems Letterman thought different from the AP, Yahoo and the rest who credited the uproar, not Conan O’Brien’s lackluster debut, on Letterman re-taking the top late night slot. Letterman would know better. It will be interesting to note a different tone concerning Palin given the mea culpa

Sounds like O’s turning from a “Post turtle” into a “Fence Walker.” In either case, if he falls off he’s gonna get hurt.
As for Iran. A lot of the people there are good and want freedom. It’s the government that are the wack-jobs. Hmmmm…Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Letterman…still a slug with really bad taste for humor. We all understand slugs, don’t we? Leaving a trail of slime wherever they go.
A Real man never would have said that in the first place. Apparently Obama may not get his Universal health care. I love it. Keep going Obamawan. YOU PUTZ!
This health care thing is driving me nuts. 2 of our drs have said that they will chose another profession if it goes how he wants. My OB and our primary care are both men of character with deeply held beliefs. They won’t be a part of something that would cause them to compromise those.
Being in the health care system as it is is hard enough. They do order tests we don’t need or that won’t give answers so if something happens they are covered. We turn a lot of them down. dr zoon and I both believe there is only so much medical can do for any of us and the rest is up to God, but finding that line is so hard, especially when you’re in the hospital with a little one.
Letterman is still apologizing? Now THAT’S funny.
Maybe Letterman and BHO can go on an “apology tour” together.
All Dave has to do is his “Country Guy” and he’s the President: “Ummmm, errr, uhhhh … bats is smart, they use radar… Got any gum?”
A second apology? Man, Letterman is feeling some kind of heat … not from the MSM which when it wasn’t ignoring the story was making excuses for him. Good for a handful of conservatives who dragged out the Lefty Outrage Playbook.
I think he’s doing enough. Every time I turn on the telly, he’s spending another trillion dollars on something.
