Never burned in my life, I decided to hit the pool and beach in the Carolina sun without any lotion. It started to hit me at a seafood restaurant, one I had longed to visit the whole trip, so I high-tailed it home with no shrimp, though my arms and chest looked kind of like the tail of one. I spent the rest of the vacation in bed, watching a Jimmy Stewart marathon (he had just died) and eating Wendy's while my family was outside enjoying the locals.
