Sounds about right, if we use the electrical outlet behind her on the wall just to get a sense of size. Also intersting that they posed her next to that odd chair/barstool thing, not a regular chair, as though they were trying to deliberately obscure her size. So I’d go w/ 5’2″, give or take an inch either way.

I think that’s how she appears. My guess is she’s kind of short, and that’s why she looks that way. I just googled for her height and got this:
According to an article in the New York Times (Sunday, 9/14/2008), her former hair stylist from the “Pink Beehive” was quoted as saying that Sarah Palin’s hairstyle (the updo) was created to make her look taller because “she is short.” The same source says John McCain is 5’7″ and she wore high, high-heels on the campaign trail (if Floyd were here he’d be crude enough to call them f-me pumps, but I don’t traffic in crudity) yet still remained below McCain’s height. My guess is she’s 5’2″ – 5’4″.
