The trolls are getting really hilarious. This is better than an episode of Friends or Wings. Keep yapping freakshow, I have popcorn, diet soda…watching your tap dancing is better than Monday Night Football. But hey some people don’t care if they are laughed at. Lileks is great, especially about his dog. That paragraph made me think of my poor old Sam. She (Sam was a she) was such a docile animal. A very even-tempered black lab mix. But fireworks drove her insane with terror. She’d be inside the house, but we’d have no idea where. She could have been under or behind any piece of furniture, hoping against hope that she’d survive the night. All we could do was leave every door open and assume we’d see her in the morning.

She was always extra happy on the 5th, though. And why not? She’d cheated death again!

He sat there until it was over. It must be immensely frustrating: he senses the peril, but we do not. What do I have to do to warn you? What must I do to make you understand?”
