way before my time, but i have a couple of ads for that stuff on some dvd compilations.
Al Capp is under rated now. He was no conservative, but he made the mistake of rejecting and satirizing the new left. He had a great book out years ago, “My Well Balanced Life on a Wooden Leg”.
Well worth finding and reading.

Ted Geisel’s (aka Dr. Seuss) ad stuff is also very good. I enjoy his early work for an adult audience very much. Oh to live when guys like him and Cole Porter were around.

YES — it’s that little guy with the crazy hair that I remember — yes, as soon as I heard that Dab’ll Do Ya — which, of course, makes me think of Fred.
And, wow, times WERE different! After she blows smoke in his face twice, he can no longer resist her?? Ick.
